The Major League Baseball is expected to present a return-to-play proposal to the MLB Players Association in a week’s time. The MLB’s teams are currently in the stage of getting their players to prepare for a possible spring training which may start by mid-June. A lot of fans are hoping that the MLB will start by July. This idea, of course, will be beneficial for players. They wont need to travel as much, with half their games at home and near their loved ones. However, there are other problems as equally challenging as logistics: money. Currently, team owners are looking at reducing the salaries of players. This is to somehow recoup the losses for the lack of ticket sales. Currently, a prorated salary based on games played is in place.
